  • Amanda started working with our son when he was just about a year old. He had a lip and tongue tie that couldn’t be released for other medical reasons but, Amanda never stopped pushing him to keep going. We saw Amanda 3 times per week from the time he was 1 year old,  until he was 3 years old. There was nobody like his Miss. Amanda. Amanda gave our quiet boy who went to her starting with 2 words to a full vocabulary and the ability to bring his personality to life. Our son slowly started coming out of his shell as Amanda helped him to build his confidence with speaking and really helping him find his voice. In the matter of weeks, we saw a huge change in our son, at the end of the year we had a son who held full conversations. Every day we continue to work with him on pronouncing his letters clearly. My son still uses techniques that Amanda taught him in stretching out his sounds and correct tongue positioning for certain sounds. We will never be able to find the words to thank Amanda for all she has done for our family and for bringing our vibrant, loud, firecracker of a baby boy out of his shell and helping him find his voice.

  • I am so incredibly grateful for the support and guidance Ms. Amanda has provided during my son’s therapy experience. When we first began, my now 3-year-old had never tried solid foods, and I was feeling overwhelmed and uncertain about how to help him. From the moment we started working with Ms. Amanda, she made us feel heard, supported and understood. Ms. Amanda not only provided us with practical strategies that encouraged my son to explore food at his own pace but also took the time to connect with our entire family. She offered thoughtful guidance for us as parents, ensuring we felt empowered and confident in our approach. She even made referrals to other professionals when necessary, making sure that we had all the resources needed to support our son’s growth. What stood out most to me was how Ms. Amanda genuinely cared for our family. She took the time to listen to our concerns, offered advice that was realistic and compassionate, and always went above and beyond to make sure we felt supported every step of the way. Her approach was warm, patient, and so thorough, and I could see how much she truly wanted to see my son succeed. I feel so thankful for everything Ms. Amanda has done for us, and I can honestly say that without her help, my son wouldn’t have made the progress he has today. We are forever grateful for her expertise and her unwavering care.

  • Amanda started working with my son when he was 4 years old. At that time, my son spoke with a few words, and was not having back and forth conversations. To say she changed his life is an understatement. At the end of his time working with Amanda, he went from hardly speaking, to fully conversational, answering questions appropriately, etc. It was a transformation I honestly never could have imagined happening so quickly! Each session never felt like a “speech therapy” session. She used so many different and fun approaches, which I believe captivated his attention and made it fun. She was always so kind and patient with him (even on days when he was hyper). In all of my encounters with speech therapists, never have I encountered one that actually tried to get to know my son’s or family interests. I truly believe this helped in so many ways! Amanda has become like family to all of us, and I’d recommend her 100 times over! My son is so successful today because of her!

  • My son started seeing Miss Amanda for speech therapy. During this time, I had spoken to her about how much of a picky eater my son was. Miss Amanda informed me that she was pursuing additional trainings for feeding therapy and would love to work with him. I am so happy we had this conversation and eagerly agreed for my son to start feeding therapy with her. During his sessions with her, my son was exposed to different foods that he wouldn’t even give a second thought to at home. He enjoyed and was excited about his sessions with Miss Amanda. She made trying new foods more fun for him. As a parent, I was so comfortable with Miss Amanda. I was able to express whatever concerns I may have had, and it was evident that they were addressed in their sessions together. Miss Amanda gave me a detailed breakdown of every session and answered whatever questions I may have had in regards to them, or anything else. She is extremely knowledgeable in her field and you can see how much she loves what she does. My son has “graduated” but he is still implementing strategies that Miss Amanda had introduced to him during their sessions. He will randomly tell me about a food that he tried with her or a “remember when” moment that he had with Miss Amanda. My son is now asking to try different foods weekly, and his speech is so much clearer. I couldn’t be happier with the results I see in my son, both with speech and feeding, and I have Miss Amanda to thank for it!
